Vertiv has launched new Vertiv PowerIT rack Power Distribution Units (PDU) designed to meet the escalating power demands of AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC) workloads in data centers.

• These new PDUs support power densities above 25 kW and utilize three-phase power distribution in both 208V Delta and 240/415V WYE configurations.
• Available models include basic, monitored, and switched, operating reliably in temperatures up to 140°F (60°C) and up to 95% humidity.
• The Switched versions offer remote outlet-level control, while Monitored models feature Secure Boot with a hardware trust anchor to protect firmware integrity.
• Customers can tailor units with configure-to-order and engineered-to-order options.
• The Vertiv PowerIT rack PDU comes with the Vertiv Distribution Assurance Package, offering seven-year comprehensive coverage.
