• Parents will receive phone notifications when their child's National ID is ready for collection, as announced by Director General of eCitizen Services, Isaac Ochieng.
• Individuals turning 18 will be automatically registered as voters with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), eliminating manual voter registration.
• The government recently acquired modern machines and mobile live capture units, reducing ID processing time to between three and seven days, as stated by Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen.
