The World Trade Organization (WTO) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) announced they are no longer targeted by the White House's latest foreign aid cuts, following an earlier plan to cut $4.9 billion in congressionally-approved aid.

• Original proposed cuts included $107 million for the ILO and $29 million for the WTO.
• US President Donald Trump's Republican administration had previously listed various international organizations for funding cuts due to "woke, weaponised, and wasteful" spending.
• The United States is the largest contributor to the WTO's budget, providing 23 million Swiss francs ($28.5 million) this year, or 11.4 percent of the total, and historically covered 22 percent of the ILO's regular budget.
