Eight suspects have been arrested and an AK-47 rifle recovered in a crackdown on criminal gangs in Kajiado County by Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives. The arrests followed an intelligence-led operation targeting hideouts in Kirinyaga and Kajiado Counties.

• Eight individuals were apprehended, including Peter Murioki Kabiru and Hesbon Majani.
• The DCI recovered a loaded AK-47 rifle, one magazine, and seven rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition from a residential flat in Rimba, Kiserian.
• Officers also intercepted a black Honda station wagon, registration number KDK 864V, believed to have been used by the suspects, recovering items such as surgical gloves and multiple mobile phones.
