The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has issued a public alert warning about fake examination papers circulating on social media ahead of the October national exams. KNEC urged students and parents to be vigilant, emphasizing that the circulating papers are not official documents.

• These fake papers claimed to be for KJSEA English, Mathematics (Grade 9 KJSEA-2025), KJSEA Christian Religious Education (Code 908)-2025, and KJSEA Kiswahili (Msimbo 902)-2025.
• The final assessment for the junior school cycle, the KJSEA, is scheduled for October 2025.
• KNEC announced that from 2025, students will be required to shade their responses on Optical Mark Reader (OMR) answer sheets for both KPSEA and KJSEA, a change from previous years.
