Four preschool children and their teacher were hospitalized in Embu, Kenya, after a bee attack at their daycare. Five other children received treatment and were later discharged following the incident at ACK Kathangariri Daycare.

• Eight children aged between one and a half and three years, along with their nanny, were rushed to Granton and Polly Private Hospital.
• Clinician Dickson Murithi confirmed several victims suffered anaphylactic reactions.
• Parent Aphuid Kimanthi noted this was the second bee invasion at the daycare.
