Isiolo Governor Abdi Guyo has denied involvement in the alleged abduction of former Isiolo County officer for Health, Abdirahman Mohamed, despite the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) claiming CCTV evidence places him at the scene. Guyo insists he was not in Machakos County when the incident occurred and is protected by a Kiambu High Court order.

• The ODPP directed the DCI to arrest Governor Guyo and five others for alleged robbery with violence and abduction.
• The alleged abduction took place at the Outbark Hotel in Maanzoni, Machakos County, in June during Mohamed's impeachment proceedings.
