President William Ruto has urged the international community to significantly increase climate change contributions, emphasizing that Africa is proactively seeking solutions and not just presenting itself as a victim. Speaking at the Second Africa Climate Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on Monday, Ruto highlighted Africa’s commitment to climate action as a driver for economic growth, transformation, and job creation, underscored by the Nairobi Declaration.
