Fashion icon Giorgio Armani's private funeral was held on Monday in Rivalta, a village near Piacenza, Italy, where he grew up. He passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 91.

• Only about 60 people were expected at the 3:30 pm (1330 GMT) ceremony at the 14th-century Church of San Martino.
• The Armani group stated it was a strictly private affair, following a weekend where approximately 15,000 people paid their respects at his Milan headquarters.
• His remains are to be buried in the family chapel in Rivalta alongside his mother Maria, father Ugo, and brother Sergio.
