Kenya has launched SERA.ai, its first AI-powered tool designed to drastically cut the time needed for health policy development from years to just a few months. Developed by Visortech Solutions in partnership with Yemaya Health Advisory, the tool aims to enhance policy formulation efficiency and responsiveness.

The tool utilizes Large Language Models (LLMs) to analyze health data and generate policy recommendations.
Keynote speaker Dr. Nduku Kilonzo emphasized that SERA.ai will prevent policies from lagging behind urgent needs, especially during health crises.
An MVP1 (Minimum Viable Product 1) has already received ethical clearance from Strathmore University for stakeholder testing.
