Russia is embarking on a large-scale development plan through 2036, including the construction of eight new data centers and significant expansion of its infrastructure networks. This ambitious project, announced by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, represents an unprecedented scale of investment.

• The plan involves nearly 20 trillion rubles (about 240 billion U.S. dollars) in investments by 2036, equivalent to almost 10 percent of Russia’s current GDP.
• Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced the development plan, which also includes the construction and reconstruction of some 4,500 kilometers of railways and over 2,000 kilometers of highways.
• The eight new data centers will accommodate more than 10,000 server racks, alongside the installation of more than 800 kilometers of high-voltage power lines and nearly 20,000 kilometers of fiber-optic communication lines.
