- Students can update details by contacting HELB via official channels with their National ID number, visiting HELB's main offices at Anniversary Towers M1 or Huduma Centres, or sending a direct message on social media including their ID number and new phone number.
- Alternatively, students can download and submit the “Student’s Personal Bank and Phone Details Change Request Form” from the HELB website, specifying the reason as a SIM card change.
- As of September 9, 2025, 1,150,578 students had applied for loans, with the portal remaining open until September 14, 2025 for first-time applicants.
