An administrative officer at the Kisii County Assembly has been arrested for allegedly using forged documents to secure his job, following an investigation by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).

• The officer is accused of altering his birth certificate to change his year of birth from 1967 to 1973, then forging his KRA PIN, NHIF, and NSSF cards to match the false identity.
• The suspect, who denied all charges, was released on a bond of Ksh150,000 with surety or an alternative cash bail of Ksh70,000.
• The case is scheduled for a pre-trial conference on September 25, 2025, at the Kisii Anti-Corruption Court.
