Residents of Eldoret City are facing a two-day water supply interruption due to planned maintenance at the Chebara Water Treatment Plant. The disruption, announced by the Eldoret Water and Sanitation Company (EWASCO), will affect numerous areas, with residents advised to brace for the temporary shortage.

• The interruption is scheduled from Wednesday, September 17 at 9am, to Thursday, September 19 at 9pm.
• Managing Director Lawrence Tanui of EWASCO stated water delivery tankers will be unavailable in affected areas.
• Key affected areas include Kimumu, the University of Eldoret, Kapsoya, Langas, and Racecourse, among others.
