The bodyguard of Moiben Member of Parliament Phylis Bartoo has been arrested for allegedly losing his government-issued Beretta pistol and 15 rounds of ammunition at a club in Sukunanga on Sunday night while drinking with friends.

• The officer reported the weapons missing at approximately 10pm and is being held in custody for interrogation.
• Uasin Gishu County Police Commander Benjamin Mwanthi confirmed the missing firearm's serial number as A16361 and appealed to the public for assistance in locating it.
