The Cricket Kenya Supreme Council has validated a new T20 League, set to begin on November 7, 2025, in Nairobi, despite internal disputes with CEO Ronald Bukusi who previously called the tournament "non-existent." This decision deepens a rift within the federation as a section of the council, representing 17 of 24 counties, has accused Bukusi of gross misconduct and is recommending his removal.

• The Sh255 million, five-year league deal was signed with Dubai/India-based sports promotional outfit AOS Sport.
• Michael Riwa, CK Taita Taveta County Representative, led the call for CEO Ronald Bukusi's removal for disowning the league.
• Kenyan cricket legends from the ICC 2003 World Cup team, including Maurice Odumbe and the Obuya brothers (Collins, David, Kennedy), have endorsed the tournament and will serve in ambassadorial roles.
• The league will feature six franchises: Nairobi Challengers, Simba Royals, Mombasa Wildebeests, Kisumu Tuskers, Rhino Hitters, and Masai Mara Warriors.
