Former Chief Justice Sushila Karki has been selected as Nepal's interim leader, following widespread anti-corruption protests that led to Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli's resignation this week. Karki is set to be sworn in at 2045 local time today.

Sushila Karki, 73, is the only woman to have held the post of chief justice of the Supreme Court of Nepal.
