Police across Kenya have intensified operations against narcotics and illicit brews, leading to multiple arrests and significant recoveries in Migori, Nandi, and Tana River counties.

In Migori County, officers seized 4 kilograms of cannabis sativa and an additional 160 rolls and nine “brooms” of cannabis in two separate incidents.
The National Police Service (NPS) confirmed the raids and ongoing investigations to apprehend suspects.
In Nandi County, police recovered a Toyota Harrier carrying 45 jerricans, each with 30 litres of suspected ethanol, along with two rolls of cannabis sativa.
Two suspects were arrested in Tana River County for possession of 40 litres each of illicit brew, locally known as makole.
