Prof. Francis Ndungu Kibera was appointed Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the National Fund for the Disabled of Kenya, replacing Dr. Kenyatta-Pratt after her 23-year tenure.
Other appointees effective September 12 include Ahmed Duale Ahmed (reappointed to Ewaso Ng’iro North River Basin Development Authority), Lung'azi Chai Mangale (Bandari Maritime Academy), Paul Mbatha (President’s Award), and Ahmed Ibrahim Abass (National Syndemic Diseases Control Council).
Several new appointees, including Lung'azi Chai Mangale and Paul Mbatha, were unsuccessful candidates in the 2022 general elections.
