The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) has announced a nationwide mass recruitment exercise beginning in October for various cadet, officer, and recruit categories. Interested candidates must apply online by October 12, with shortlisted individuals notified between October 21 and October 24 via print media.

• KDF will recruit for General Service Officers (GSO) cadets (regular and graduate), Specialist Officers, General Duty Recruits, Tradesmen and Women, and Defence Forces Constables.
• Applicants must be Kenyan citizens aged between 18 and 39 years, depending on the category, and possess relevant academic qualifications including a National ID Card, KRA PIN, and academic certificates.
• Recruitment centres will be operational across various counties, including Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru, and Kiambu, starting October 13, with specific locations detailed in local dailies and the KBF recruitment website.
