Five individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery in Embu County where goods worth Ksh5.4 million were stolen and a driver assaulted. The suspects were apprehended by the National Police Service after a tip-off led officers to their hideout.

• Ksh5.4 million worth of hygiene products, including toothpaste and detergents, were recovered.
• The arrest was made by the National Police Service during a multi-agency security operation in Embu County on Tuesday, September 16.
• The five suspects are currently in police custody awaiting arraignment; two vehicles suspected of transporting the stolen goods were also impounded.
