Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced scheduled power maintenance across several regions in Kenya on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. These interruptions are for essential upgrades and repairs to ensure a reliable electricity supply.

• Power interruptions will affect Nairobi, Machakos, Murang’a, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Kisumu, Kiambu, Kitui, Mombasa, and Kilifi counties.
• The outages are planned to last between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in most areas.
• Specific affected areas include parts of Naivasha Road, Runda in Nairobi, Kyumbi in Machakos, Mwanda Market in Nyeri, Kibos in Kisumu, and Nyali in Mombasa.
