Six people were killed and four injured on Tuesday night when a speeding lorry rammed into pedestrians at the Kipsitet area along the Kisumu-Kericho highway.

• The accident occurred around 10pm when a lorry ferrying scrap metal lost control and hit pedestrians waiting at a bus stop.
• According to Sion Sub-County Police Commander Lawrence Kisini, four people died on the spot, and two others succumbed while being rushed to the hospital.
• The injured are admitted at Kericho County Hospital, where the deceased were also taken to the mortuary.
