The Kenyan Judiciary is mourning the death of Justice Fredrick Ochieng’ Andago, a distinguished jurist who served with distinction in both the High Court and the Court of Appeal. He was known for his commitment to justice and his pioneering work in alternative dispute resolution.

• Justice Ochieng’ was serving as a Judge of the Court of Appeal at the Nakuru Law Courts until his passing.
• He was admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 1983 and joined the Bench in 2003 as a Judge of the High Court.
• He played a central role in the rollout of Court Annexed Mediation in Kenya, chairing the Judiciary’s ADR Taskforce and launching the pilot project in 2016.
