A man has been arrested in Nairobi in connection with a Ksh36 million gold scam, after allegedly defrauding a Canadian investor. He is expected to be arraigned following an investigation by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

• The victim transferred Ksh36 million via USDT for what was promised to be 550 kilograms of gold from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
• The arrest was made by DCI officers along Dennis Pritt Road following a complaint filed on September 1.
• An accomplice in the alleged fraud is still at large, with efforts ongoing to apprehend them.
