Kenya's national football team, the Harambee Stars, has once again fallen in the latest FIFA rankings, dropping two spots from 109th to 111th globally despite a strong showing at the Africa Nations Championships (CHAN). This decline follows their elimination from the CHAN quarterfinals and a subsequent loss in a World Cup qualifying match.

The Harambee Stars dropped to 111th in the world, their second-lowest ranking in 2025.
Kenya is now ranked 28th in Africa, while Uganda remarkably rose six spots to 82nd globally and 16th on the continent.
The drop was heavily influenced by their World Cup qualifying loss to The Gambia (3-1) and their quarterfinal exit from CHAN 2024 after a penalty shootout loss to Madagascar.
