Tanzanian music star Zuchu has publicly accused the Confederation of African Football (CAF) of withholding her payment for performing at the African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 final in Nairobi.

• Zuchu performed at the CHAN 2024 closing ceremony on August 30, 2025, at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.
• She was contracted through LEAP Creative Agency, with payment expected immediately after the show.
• Despite repeated follow-ups, her management has received only "unverifiable, suspicious, and clearly unpaid" proof of payment.
• Zuchu has threatened further action if the balance is not settled immediately.
