Deputy President Kithure Kindiki affirmed the government's commitment to expanding health coverage under SHA to vulnerable Kenyans. This follows the launch of a program by President William Ruto to pay monthly contributions for 1.5 million needy Kenyans.

• Over 26.4 million Kenyans have already registered for SHA services, with a target of 30 million by December.
• DP Kindiki spoke on Friday at Irunduni, Tharaka Nithi County, hosting over 6,500 Community Health Promoters from Meru County.
• The government aims to recruit 107,000 Community Health Promoters (CHPs) and is digitizing medical records to prevent fraud.
