Seven individuals were arrested in Bungoma on Saturday, September 20, during a police patrol, intercepting them with a consignment of stolen household goods and electronics. Interrogation led officers to additional stolen items and more suspects in a hideout in the Galana area.

• Seven burglars were arrested with stolen goods including television sets, laptops, speakers, and solar equipment.
• The arrests were made by officers from Bungoma Police Station, commended by the National Police Service (NPS).
• Two motorcycles, believed to have been used for transport, were also impounded, and the suspects await arraignment on September 22 at the Bungoma Law Courts.
