President William Ruto is visiting the United States of America and will hold discussions with U.S. entertainment industry stakeholders to boost Kenya’s creative economy.

• These talks aim to establish a production pipeline between Kenya and Hollywood, fostering job growth and tourism.
• Ruto will meet with filmmakers, television producers, and studio executives on September 25 at a roundtable event with the U.S. Chamber’s U.S.-Africa Business Center and AmCham Kenya.
• The delegation will include executives from Indigo Reign Films, with filmmaker Evette Vargas presenting “The Mara” as a case study for global cooperation.
• Beyond the creative sector, Ruto will advocate for reforms of the global financial system and the United Nations.
