Maragua MP Mary Wamaua was chased away by angry residents at Kimorori Grounds, Kenol, Murang’a County, on Monday afternoon. The confrontation stemmed from plans to develop the sports grounds, which residents fear will be used for government offices or an affordable housing project, displacing their recreational space.
