Members of Parliament have called for a special audit into JKUAT Enterprises Limited over allegations of dubious allowances paid to its top management and a failure to meet the required board member threshold. The revelations came after the entity could not provide documentation for unsupported board expenses during the 2022/23 financial year.

The Public Investments Committee on Governance and Education, led by Chair and Bumula MP Jack Wanani Wamboka, directed the Auditor General to conduct the special audit.
The CEO, Mr. Erastus Mvuria, stated some directors participated remotely, explaining the lack of physical signatures on attendance registers.
The Auditor’s report indicated only five board members were present out of the required eleven, and highlighted irregularities like payments for incomplete work, such as the Inpo Factory Roof Project.
