Directline Assurance Company, a major insurer for Public Service Vehicles (PSVs) in Kenya, has clarified that it has not suspended operations, despite current challenges and a shareholder dispute. The company reassured stakeholders that it continues to offer services, emphasizing its commitment to settling claims.

Directline has settled claims amounting to Ksh1.47 billion as of mid-September 2025.
The company recently appointed a new management team, announced by Royal Media Services (RMS) boss SK Macharia, following investigations into beneficial ownership.
SK Macharia has called on the Ethics and Anti-Graft Commission (EACC) to investigate alleged misappropriation of funds at Directline.
