The National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) has significantly boosted its drug trafficking enforcement capabilities by graduating officers from a specialized Detection Canine Handling Course at the K9 Unit in Langata, Nairobi.

• These newly trained officers will form a cutting-edge K9 unit, enhancing NACADA’s ability to detect concealed narcotics.
• CEO Anthony Omerikwa emphasized this as a "critical investment" in the fight against drug traffickers, calling a well-trained K9 team a "force multiplier."
• This initiative is part of a broader national strategy under the ongoing 100-Day Rapid Results Initiative (RRI) led by the Ministry of Interior.
