Three men have been sentenced to life imprisonment by a court in Ngong after being found guilty of violent robbery in separate incidents. The trio faced charges of robbery with violence after a strong case was presented by prosecutors.

• The primary incident involved the violent robbery of a man in Kibiku, Kajiado West, on December 18, 2021, where items including a Huawei Y9 phone (valued at Ksh24,990) and a pair of shoes (worth Ksh4,000) were stolen.
• The perpetrators also illegally transferred Ksh3,970 from the victim's mobile money account.
• One of the convicts received an additional two-year prison sentence for resisting arrest on December 29, 2021, and another life sentence for a separate robbery on September 5, 2021, where items worth Ksh227,000, including a smart TV and Ksh50,000 in cash, were stolen.
