A multi-agency team led by NACADA conducted a dawn raid in Nairobi's Mukuru Kwa Reuben and Mukuru Kwa Njenga settlements, seizing a massive 4,000 litres of illicit chang'aa. This operation is part of the government's intensified war on drugs and its 100-day Rapid Results Initiative (RRI).

• 4,000 litres of ready-to-drink illicit alcohol were confiscated in the Friday, September 26th operation.
• The raid by NACADA enforcement, in collaboration with Nairobi Area Police officers, targeted a sophisticated distillery and distribution network.
• The illicit brew was packed in 14 large sacks using nylon materials banned by NEMA, highlighting disregard for public health and environmental laws.
• No suspects were apprehended at the scene, but Dr. Anthony Omerikwa, CEO of NACADA, stated the operation sent an "unequivocal message" to illicit brew merchants.
