A Chinese national, Zhimin Qian (also known as Yadi Zhang), has been convicted in London for her role in a large-scale cryptocurrency scam that led to the world’s largest Bitcoin seizure, valued at over £5 billion ($6.7 billion).

  • The Metropolitan Police seized 61,000 Bitcoin from Qian, who orchestrated a scam defrauding over 128,000 victims in China between 2014 and 2017.
