The Kenya Editors Guild (KEG) has announced the appointment of veteran journalist Linda Bach as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective October 16, 2025. Bach will succeed Rosalia Omungo, who has served as CEO for 8 years.
- Linda Bach previously served as a Council Member at Print Media on the KEG executive council and has over 15 years of journalism experience.
- The outgoing CEO, Rosalia Omungo, was praised by KEG President Zubeidah Kananu for her 8 years of "exemplary leadership."
- Following Bach's elevation, Andy Kagwa was appointed Council Member – Print and Millicent Awuor became the new chairperson of the Programmes Committee.
