Murang'a Governor Irungu Kang'ata has secured a pledge of Sh20 billion from Chinese investors for the establishment of the Murang’a Industrial Park. This significant investment aims to boost the county's economic growth and create numerous job opportunities.

• The proposed industrial park will occupy 800 acres within the Delmonte land and is projected to employ over 10,000 people.
• Jieyundianqi Company, specializing in electric transformers and solar panels, plans to invest Sh6.4 billion on a 50-acre plot, creating 1,000 jobs.
• Investors are scheduled to visit Murang’a in October to finalize agreements and commence construction.
