PS Omollo has confirmed that Ithookwe Stadium is 92% complete for the upcoming Mashujaa Day celebrations on October 20, 2025, in Kitui County. The event, themed “Energy,” will highlight government achievements and honor national heroes.

• Principal Secretary for Internal Security and National Administration, Dr. Raymond Omollo, led the inspection of preparations.
• Remaining tasks at Ithookwe Stadium, including roofing, seating, and access points, are expected to be finalized soon.
• Dr. Omollo also toured the Kitui Airstrip, the refurbished County Commissioners Residence, and access roads upgraded by KURA and KeRRA to facilitate movement.
