Two former officials of the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB), a businessman, and his two companies are facing charges in a Ksh 209 million fraud case involving the illegal sale of sub-standard fertilizer. The Milimani Anti-Corruption Court ruled for the five defendants to go on defence after the prosecution established a prima facie case.

• The accused include a former Chair of the Business Development and Advisory Committee and a former Corporate Secretary at NCPB.
