The National Police Service (NPS) has offered a Ksh 1 million reward for information leading to the re-arrest of Collins Jumaisi Khalusha, the prime suspect in the Kware massacre where 42 women were killed.

• Key suspect: Collins Jumaisi Khalusha, who confessed to the crimes but later claimed torture.
• Escape incident: Jumaisi escaped from Gigiri Police Station on August 20, 2024, along with 12 other suspects.
• Consequences: Eight police officers, including the Gigiri Sub-County Commander and OCS, were interdicted following the escape.
