Police in Bungoma County rescued a 27-year-old man from mob justice after he was found allegedly abusing a woman with a mental disability on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

• The incident occurred in the compound of an MCA, and the assailant was a to the 34-year-old victim.
• The suspect, who also has learning difficulties, sustained minor injuries from mob justice before being taken to a local hospital.
