DCI detectives have arrested a father and son, Peter Mwendwa Musyoka and Dennis Musyoka, in Nairobi for allegedly conning M-Pesa operators out of over Ksh.200,000. The duo was apprehended at their hideout in Komarock's Nyama Villa estate following an investigation into a Ksh.236,000 scam.

• The scam involved Ksh.236,000 from an M-Pesa operation at Gikomba Market on September 2, 2025.
• The father, Peter Mwendwa Musyoka, is believed to be the mastermind who introduced his son, Dennis Musyoka, into the fraudulent scheme.
• Detectives recovered used and unused SIM cards, ID cards, agent and paybill numbers from Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom, along with laptops and smartphones.
