President William Ruto announced a "whole-of-government approach" for the national rollout of the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) programme, designed for smooth and transparent implementation.

• The KSh5 billion NYOTA programme, a partnership between the Government of Kenya and the World Bank, aims to support 100,000 young people nationwide, with 70 beneficiaries from each of Kenya's 1,450 wards receiving a KSh50,000 grant for entrepreneurial ventures.
• Key stakeholders, including Principal Secretaries, governors, Members of Parliament, county assemblies, and chiefs, will be sensitized on the program on Monday to ensure effective delivery.
• Beyond grants, NYOTA will also provide job experience training for 90,000 youth, recognition of prior learning for 20,000, and training on Access to Government Procurement Opportunities (AGPO) for an additional 600,000 youth, emphasizing a 50-50 gender parity.
