A 41-year-old woman, Anna Nekesa Kisaka, was arrested at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) by the DCI Anti-Narcotics Unit for attempting to smuggle cocaine to Dubai.

• Kisaka concealed three pellets of cocaine inside her body, which were discovered during an additional screening by detectives acting on intelligence.
• The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) announced her arrest after the failed smuggling attempt.
• The arrest occurred just minutes before her flight was scheduled to depart.
