China, representing 28 member states, delivered a joint statement at the Third Committee of the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly, calling for the immediate and complete removal of unilateral coercive measures (UCMs).

• Fu Cong, China’s permanent representative to the United Nations, stated that UCMs gravely affect global production and supply chains, food, energy, and financial security, and hinder countries' ability to achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
• The statement was delivered on behalf of countries including Belarus, Cambodia, Central African Republic, Cuba, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Pakistan, and Russia.
• The 28 countries urged "certain western states" to honor commitments to the UN Charter and international law and to immediately, unconditionally, and completely lift all UCMs.
