Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga and ODM Members of Parliament have strongly defended Raila Odinga against speculation regarding his health, accusing former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua of spreading 'deliberate misinformation' and engaging in divisive politics.

• Governor Wanga criticized Gachagua's divisive character, stating, "That opposition is imploding because one man called Gachagua is such a divisive character, he can not bring people together."
• Kisumu West MP Rosa Buyu accused Gachagua of exploiting Odinga's health for political gain, while also highlighting Raila's role as a unifier, stating, "Raila is a glue that holds this country together."
• Siaya Woman Representative Christine Ombaka and Migori Counterpart Fatuma Mohamed condemned using someone’s health as a political tool as unethical and dangerous.
