Uganda Police Force Spokesperson ACP Kituuma Rusoke stated no reports confirm the activists are in police custody, and no formal missing persons reports have been filed.
The activists were in Uganda for a meeting with National Unity Platform Presidential candidate Bobi Wine.
The Kenyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sought details on their whereabouts, with the Kenya High Commission in Kampala requesting urgent clarification from Uganda's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
