A Nairobi Water and Sewerage Company (NCWSC) official was arrested and charged on October 7, 2025, for allegedly using a forged Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) document. This follows an investigation by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).

• The suspect is accused of presenting a fraudulent KCSE certificate purportedly issued by Bishop Ndingi High School.
• The EACC investigation confirmed the document was falsified and used to secure employment at NCWSC.
• The official faces four charges, including uttering a false document and forgery, and was released on a cash bail of Ksh100,000 or a bond of Ksh1 million.
• This arrest comes shortly after another Nairobi Water official was convicted on October 4 for using a forged Diploma Certificate from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
